Private / group tours
If, instead of our scheduled service, you book a private tour (€250 for groups up to 4; €300 for groups 5-25) you have complete flexibility. Not only will you have your own dedicated guide, but we can pick up from your accommodation (if it’s city centre) at whatever time or date that suits you. We have catered for group bookings from established tour companies such as Rick Steves, Wilderness Ireland, Wanderlust Private Tours, For The Love of Travel (FTLO), Sports Travel Academy, Sights and Soul Travel, Routscape, Firebird Fine Arts Tours, EIL Intercultural Learning, Olde Ipswich Tours, and many more.
Themed tours
As well as our ‘Original Tour’ (a general survey of Irish and Dublin history), we offer tours focused on Revolutionary Dublin (1912-1923), Medieval Dublin, Literary Dublin, and Georgian Dublin (architecture).
Corporate
We have catered for corporate clients such as Google, Hewlett Packard, Canada Life, and UNESCO, for whom we have sometimes customised our tours to suit their particular interests—science and technology, commerce, medical and legal history, etc. Our guides are experienced researchers and love tackling new challenges.
Colleges
We have catered for third-level institutions in Ireland (North and South), Britain, Europe and North America and have had repeat bookings from Notre Dame, New York University, Boston College, Oklahoma State University, University of Arizona, University of North Carolina, University of New Hampshire, Northern Arizona University, Missouri Southern State University, Virginia Tech University and many more.
Schools
In response to the interest generated by the ‘Decade of Centenaries 2012-2023’ we have catered for Transition Year and Leaving Cert students (Scoil Mhuire Gan Smál, Ballyhaunis Community School, Colaiste Phárdraig, Lucan, St Declan’s College, Dublin 7, and St Ciaran’s Community School, Kells), as well as A-level students from Northern Ireland (Belfast Royal Academy) and Britain (Lancaster Royal Grammer School), and Danish gymnasiums (Støvring, Marselisborg/Aarhus, Svendborg, Rødkilde).
